Small Groups
Oakland's small groups exist to connect people, so what better name for our youth and adult SS than “Connections”.
When we get in smaller more comfortable settings we can begin to build lasting friendships and accountability. Small groups allow us to socialize, grow together spiritually, and minister to one as well as and to those in our community.

 
Connecting with Christ, the Bible and other people…
with Christ
· Knowing and trusting Christ as Lord and Savior
· Growing in faith and becoming fully devoted disciples of Christ
with the Bible
· Gaining a deeper understanding of Biblical instructions
· Applying all we learn to our daily lives.
· Living life with a Biblical perspective
with other people
· Ministering is the practical application of caring for others
· Fellowship is when we connect with others to serve or for social enjoyment
· Sharing the good news is the natural and expected result of knowing Christ as Savior and growing in faith with other believers.
